Tiada Pulang is a piece based on Sitor Situmorang’s poem Si Anak Hilang (The Lost Child). The poem tells a story of a child returning home after years of absence. This poem portrays a bittersweet feeling of joy and familiarity of being back in the arms of their family and familiar nature of home with an undertone feeling of loss and alienation due to the changes and loss of connections with the environment around them.
